~ Bob Marley cover

The encore was entirely jack solo

This was part of "Street Scene" a two-day music festival held in the streets of downtown san diego. www.street-scene.com

Recording fades in because the taper got there late because he decided to see the entire Foo Fighters set and be late to jack. The first 3-5 songs of the concert are missing. It's hard to run with 30 pounds of gold around your neck foo!

If you want to hear what it sounded like running through the crowd to get into position to tape this show, this is an interesting recording BA also made while running through the crowd. avant gard!

B.A. says: "Hey you crazy fool! If the quality sucks, go tape the show yourself and quit complaining! Now excuse me ... i have to go convert my black van into a tank for the 30th time this month. Sucka!"

Subject: Good quality, but a few songs skip
Anyone experienced this? I noticed Rodeo Clowns, Mudfootball, and Pirate Looks At 40 skip pretty good and then it clears up. Overall pretty good.

Subject: A fun old recording
I was the taper. I just re-stumbled onto my recording of this street scene show. I streamed it and it sounded great again. The bass is a little heavy for sure and it isn't really clear, but it is clear enough. There is very little crowd noise and even though the beggining is missing, it's a fun show. It has a unique version of 'rainbow' and 'rodeo clowns' with G Love. A fun little show. Dig it.

Subject: I know it was a while ago, but...
I was perusing through the IA vaults and couldn't believe they had this show! It was my first Jack show, and unlike the taper, I was ontime for the Jack show ;) Although I did catch most of the Foo show, which kicked ass. Anyways, I've been to several Jack shows since and EVERY Jack show in San Diego is guaranteed to be a great time! He must really love this place. I'm almost reluctant to see Jack anywhere BUT San Diego because the shows here are always a cut above the rest. The set was typical of a normal Jack show, which is to be expected, but the crowd and band were energenic. DF and G Love were great guests as always. Great show, and well worth streaming and/or downloading.
